We’ve teamed up with HTTV again this year to bring you the 2018 tbaytel Dryden Walleye Masters weigh-ins live, online! You don’t have to be near a TV this year – you can even watch it on your phone while you’re on the go! It’s a great way to feel like you’re there, even if you can’t be.

We’re just a couple of days away from the 26th annual tbaytel Walleye Masters – and we’re full up! 135 teams are registered, and you’ll find the list of your competition on our Registrations and Entries page.
Anglers please check the leaderboards – here (teams 1-70) and here (teams 71-138) – and verify the spelling of your name, as well as your partner. If you haven’t told us who your partner is yet, please let us know as well. You can send corrections and updates to [email protected] and we’ll update them!
Please note that we will have our leaderboards updated in almost real time throughout the tournament. You are encouraged to use these links to check results throughout the weigh-ins. Paper printouts may not be available in the arena – but you CAN access the same results online from home, or on your phone. Here are the links you’ll need:
With less than a month to go, the tbaytel Walleye Masters tournament is almost full! We’ve already passed our original target of 125 teams, and the 10 reserve spaces are now filling up. We will still accept up to 135 teams total, like last year, but after that, you can still register, but will be on a waiting list.
There are only 8 spaces left as of tonight, so don’t wait! Fill out your entry form and drop it off with payment at QSL Tackle before you’re left on the shore!
Many of you have been asking about registrations for the 2015 event (June 20th and 21st). The committee has met, and it has been decided that the entry fee will REMAIN at just $350 dollars per team, plus $20 for the optional big fish contest. The support of our fantastic sponsors, as well as amazing angler turnout allow us to keep the tbaytel Walleye Masters the most affordable walleye tournament in the area, with the largest payouts.
The new registration form is available to download, print, and fill out NOW by clicking here – and you have until Friday, October 31st to secure your 2014 finishing position as your 2015 starting position.
We have some great things in store for next year, and we’ll keep you posted here on our website, and our Facebook page as they develop.
And it wouldn’t be right to wrap this post up without sending a HUGE thank you to the outgoing Chair of the tbaytel Walleye Masters, Joe Barron, who is finally stepping down. (After threatening to do it for several years now.) I think you’ll all agree that Joe has been absolutely instrumental in making the tbaytel Walleye Masters tournament a premiere fishing event in Northwestern Ontario. Over the last few years, he as worked tirelessly to ensure that we always try to put the anglers first in every decision the committee makes, keeping order in the meetings, and trying to keep us all focused – no small feat some days! His leadership will be missed, but we wish him all the very best as he can now turn his attention to FISHING the tournament instead of running it! Thank you Joe, for your years of hard work and dedication.
The 2014 tbaytel Walleye Masters has a full field of 125 teams! But due to the overwhelming response we’ve received, the committee has decided to open an additional 10 spots – and ONLY 10 spots. If you haven’t registered yet, or have a friend who wants to join us for our 25th Anniversary, get your registration in quickly.
Reports from anglers, who have been fishing Wabigoon Lake, report fishing has been good and some pretty big ‘eyes have been caught and released.
